Can you handle the TRUTH? MJ Style!

music: Michael Jackson - Black or White

Finally, we got a confirmation that MJ indeed composed the music for Sonic the Hedgehog 3!!

B&W: Can you clarify the rumor that Michael had in 1993 composed the music for Sonic 3 video game, for which you havel been credited?

Buxer: I've never played the game so I do not know what tracks on which Michael and I have worked the developers have kept, but we did compose music for the game. Michael called me at the time for help on this project, and that's what I did.
And if he is not credited for composing the music, it's because he was not happy with the result sound coming out of the console. At the time, game consoles did not allow an optimal sound reproduction, and Michael found it frustrating. He did not want to be associated with a product that devalued his music...

B&W: One of the surprising things in this soundtrack is that you can hear the chords from Stranger in Moscow, which is supposed to have been composed later...

Buxer: Yes, Michael and I had composed those chords for the game, and it has been used as base for Stranger in Moscow. [...]

Fatal Frame 4 fan dub project

Nov. 15th, 2009 | 02:01 am

So I have been a fan of the Fatal Frame series for sometime, and was looking forward to the English release of Fatal Frame 4, also known as Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. However, Nintendo keep delaying the licensing/release of the game that eventually, we ended up with THIS news.

So several fans have taken up arms dictionaries, and decided to take on this big project of translating the entire FFIV game, which is nearing its completion! So I was very happy to see that. Plus, there's even an English Dub project they are planning for the game, which is exciting to see. But, as of what I've learned today, they posted a video saying that they currently have no plan to recruit any more actors. Lame, but I hope this might change in the future.

If you're interested in the Fatal Frame series, I highly recommend checking out Beyond The Camera's Lens, an excellent fan resource for everything Fatal Frame related and also one of my favorite videogame series dedication websites ever. So enjoy and hope for the success of this fan translation!

Kamen Rider Black...IS BACK!!

Jul. 21st, 2009 | 01:56 am
mood: excitedexcited
music: Gackt - Journey Through The Decade

Our surprise dimension-traveling world for next week episode (26) of Kamen Rider Decade will be...Kamen Rider Black (RX)!! WOOT!!

Black is my favorite Rider from the old-school Showa era, and possibly one of the (if not) the best Kamen Rider series I have ever watched. For those of you who might remembered, Saban Entertainment (the people who brought us Power Rangers) also licensed Kamen Rider Black RX for a short period of time and changed the plot completely (like MMPR) under the name "Masked Rider."

That said, the fact that the production staffs let Decade traveled to Kamen Rider Black world show that they haven't forgotten the old school fans! Plus this will tied to the awesome ass-kicking Kamen Rider Decade movie coming out this summer! Which features ALL the Kamen Riders against the revived...Great Shocker! XD

Anyway, I can't wait to see the original actor reprise his role as Kotaro Minami this very special episode of Kamen Rider Decade! ^^
